Side By Side 2025

Side by Side Weekend… the best weekend of the year! We were super lucky to get to co-present again this year. On our stage we had emmersonHALL, Goodwill Suck Machine, Knitting, and Backseat Dragon. Check out pictures and videos from the weekend below!

The show started out with emmersonHALL, debuting some fresh new tunes. Dare we say their best songs yet? The blend of folk with heavy instrumentation always takes our breathe away. Watch some of their set below!

Next up we had Goodwill Suck Machine playing their first show ever ! Tight, punchy, and punky emo songs, that sounded just as good live as they do on the record. We can’t wait for more music and hopefully shows from them!

One of our fave bands from Montreal, Knitting, played an amazing set. They’ve been busy this year playing all over and we’re lucky they came and rocked out with us. Checkout our interview below and stay tuned for their live set on our Youtube channel.

And lastly headlining the night we had Ottawa’s own Backseat Dragon! They played SBSW a few years ago as an opener, so it was awesome to see them play as a headline! They played a few new songs that we caught on camera and made the crowd go wild.

The whole weekend was amazing, and we got to discover lot’s of new bands. Some of my faves were VICTIME, Mopar Stars, Ruby Doom, and BUCKO.
